The SMT8-T is the result of many years of development in the "Piggy-Back" industry. It follows in the
footsteps of the SMT6 and the new SMT8-L. The new SMT8-T is the little brother to the SMT6 and not only
is it packed with similar features to the SMT6, but it is affordable and compact too!
The SMT8-T - Tiny Tuner - Affordable Tuning Ability!
The SMT8-T or "Tiny Tuner" has one analog signal that is intercepted via the ANIN (pin 8 of 16) to
AOUT (pin 14 of 16)connections. It is then mapped via the Throttle/RPM, Engine Temp and AMP, for the
purpose of altering fuel at specific engine conditions. Full calibrations and limiting is available.
The output signal can be limited (high or low) and the zero offset calibrated. The unit has one ignition
signal (CRANK) that can be intercepted and mapped via Throttle/RPM, AMP and Engine Temp, for the purpose of
retarding or advancing the ignition. It can drive one extra injector (4-13 ohm) for supplimenting fuel at
high boost. The extra injector can be controlled via Throttle/RPM, AMP and Engine Temp maps. This allows
for precise fuel delivery at boost conditions - a feature which is very popular with turbo and supercharger
installations.
