The XMS4 (Xtreme Management System - 4th Generation) stand-alone product range,
consists of twelve fully comprehensive stand-alone engine management
systems. You can choose from three groups - A, B and C - as
each group offers four different modules. Each group is catered to various
needs.
The XMS4 A Group consists of four different modules, of the
most economical XMS4 products in the range. They are ideally suited for 4 to 8 cylinder
engines (batch injection only), and are available with:
- 2 to 4 x 2Amp Direct
Injector Drivers
- 2 to 4 x Ignition
Signal Outputs
- 2 x Setpoint Outputs
The XMS4A product
can pack a maximum of 4 x 2Amp injector drivers, an optional 2.8bar Manifold Absolute
Pressure (MAP) sensor, a maximum of 4 ignition signal outputs, and a turbo BOOST
controller. The RPM range exceeds 10,000 on certain input trigger types. The
XMS4A operates from two manual or automatically switched master maps and each map
consists of up to 2000 sites! Ignition and injection is sequential, but
dependent on the amount of cylinders and availability of a CAM sensor.
Even though these models are the smallest in the entire XMS4 range, they all boast
the LETRIPP SOFTWARE features. If you don’t need
all the fancy hardware, then the XMS4A is the product for you.
