I would like to fit your fuel injection system to my engine. Is it feasible?
If its fuel injected already, why change?  If you would like to gain "access" to your engine, then it may be worthwhile.  Before discarding the old fuel injection system, consider:

  •     ABS
  •     Dashboard instrumentation
  •     Security systems and alarms
All universal fuel injection and engine management systems can operate your engine, but may fall short on any of the above auxiliary systems.

If it has a carburettor you gain the following:

Better low end "grunt".

A carburettor can't atomise the fuel and proportion it correctly in the lower RPM ranges, if its tuned for mid range. A fuel injection can!

Better top end power.
A mid range tuned carburettor "restricts" the air flow at the top end , the fuel injection doesn't.

Better fuel economy at the top end.
A mid range tuned carburettor goes "rich" at top end, a fuel injection doesn't

Better fuel economy at light power cruising.

You can "lean" an engine at cruising speed with a fuel injection.

No flooding under extreme (4x4) vehicle angles.
At extreme angles a carburettor will flood the vehicle due to it's float cambers, the fuel injection doesn't.

A carburettor "wizard" will disagree with the above statements. And he is right! Very modern carburettor incorporate all kind of gadgets to achieve the above points, or minimize the effects. But it takes a "wizard" to tune a carburettor !!!!
