SMT8-FT PLUG & PLAY FUEL TUNER

The purpose or aim of the SMT8-FT is to provide a fuel-controlling unit with a "Plug & Play" facility. The unit requires no engineering no cutting of wires and can be installed within minutes. The SMT8-FT applies to the environmentally conscious installer, who would like to reduce fuel consumption. The unit also applies to the motor enthusiast who would like to run his/her engine at the most power fuel ratio possible. To be released in August 2010.

What do we do?

At Digital Data Systems (Pty) Ltd we design, manufacture, sell (and race) the famous Perfect Power brand of fuel injection and engine management systems. All our products are developed in-house, which enables us to provide expert advice and service.

Wiring Diagrams for Perfect Power Products

We are continuously updating our Wiring Diagram list for our SMT6 and SMT7 piggy-back products. Please visit the Wiring Diagram list under the Downloads section often for NEW diagrams.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not find a suitable wiring diagram for either the SMT6 or SMT7, it means we do not have the diagram as it is impossible to have a wiring diagram for every vehicle make and model worldwide.
We can create a wiring diagram for you, but you will need to send us your specific vehicle's ECU pin out data. If you do not have your vehicle's ECU pin out data, you can search the Internet for a suitable source. You can also contact the vehicle manufacturer. Alternatively, if you know how to use a Voltmeter, you could measure the voltage on the pins/wires of the ECU to determine their function.

Stand-Alone Products

Perfect Power's Stand-Alone products are complete Engine Management Systems, which unlike piggy-backs, they replace the vehicle's stock or original ECU.

Perfect Power's Stand-Alone products can handle both normal driving and extreme racing conditions and allow precise adjustment of fuel and ignition timing.

Piggy-Back Products

Perfect Power's Piggy-Back systems will work with an existing ECU and intercept or change the signals from the engine before they get to the ECU.

Our Piggy-Back products also do ignition mapping, extra injector activation, launch control, open and closed loop lambda tuning, logging and real time tuning WHILE YOU DRIVE, all with the original ECU still present!

Another first from us is our WIRELESS piggy-back products. Now you can tune our product without connecting to the unit which has been installed in a "hard-to-reach" place!
