Some parts may need to be changed in your engine, as ethanol may have a corrosive effect on them. Here at Perfect Power, our test vehicle, an Opel (Vauxhall) (manufactured by GM - General Motors), did not need any changes as the vehicle was manufactured in 2005 and was designed to accommodate a blended fuel, even though it is not considered a flex-fuel vehicle. It should be safe to presume that any vehicle manufactured from 2001/2 should be Ethanol compliant. However, ALWAYS check with your Vehicle Manufacturer beforehand to confirm.
