Batch sequential injection assumes an injector per cylinder, where two injectors wired to one output! This means that:
XMS5A-4A | Can be used for 2/4/6/8 cylinder batch sequential injection |
XMS5B-4A | Can be used for 2/4/6/8 cylinder batch sequential injection |
XMS5B-8A | Can be used for 2/4/6/8/12 cylinder batch sequential injection |
BATCH SEQUENTIAL FOR A 4 CYLINDER
BATCH SEQUENTIAL FOR A 6 CYLINDER
BATCH SEQUENTIAL FOR A 8 CYLINDER
Low Resistance Injectors 2-4 Ohm
They normally have a high flow rate. They require a "stepped" current to reduce the power dissipation when used in parallel, or as a single injector. The XMS5 cannot provide a "stepped" current, but can activate a 2-Ohm injector with the use of an external driver. If this is required, then check the injector temperature after prolonged use.
High Resistance Injectors 12-16 Ohm
Setup
Conclusion
The XMS5 systems are suitable for batch sequential injection as indicated. Batch sequential injection is the most economical system, and most popular.
